Steam-distilled essential oils have a shelf life of 5 years
Essential oils (essences) obtained by expressions such as lemon, orange have a shelf life of 3 years.
Vegetable oils have a shelf life of 18 to 24 months.
For hydrosols: 6 months (for the most sensitive as Cornflower) to 12 months for others.
Hydrosols have a shelf life of 6 months (for the more sensitive ones like Cornflower) to 12 months for others.
To optimize this shelf life, it is imperative to follow our specified recommendation in the above paragraph. Never leave bottles under constant light and remember to always close the bottle after use.

We consider it important to store our products in cold rooms at constant temperatures not exceeding 17 ° Celsius.
Essential oils, vegetable oils and hydrosols are very sensitive to heat which can greatly:
- Increase contamination of allergens in for essential oils
- Increase peroxide value for vegetable oils
- Increase microbiological pollution in hydrosols
Our advice : After receipt of your package, store your products immediately in a refrigerated room or simply in your fridge. This will increase the life of your products and retain their therapeutic qualities.

For essential oils you should apply the following formula: Volume (ml) = weight (g) / density. An example for 15 gr of lavender essential: 15 (gr) / 0.889 (density) = 16.87 ml
For carrier oils you should apply the same formula as for essential oils.

Our advice : for high accuracy in calculations of formulas, we strongly recommend using a precision scale with a scale of 0.1 grams. It is not recommended to merely count drops because accuracy is significantly decreased.
